My path into security started in hospitality — working in some of Amsterdam's most demanding environments, including the W Hotel and Kimpton De Witt. Those years taught me something most security professionals miss: safety starts with how you make people feel. Understanding guests, reading a room, and de-escalating tension before it becomes a problem — these are skills you only learn by being present with people.

From hospitality I moved into high-stakes physical security, protecting critical infrastructure for hyperscalers including Microsoft. Datacenter environments demand a different discipline — strict access protocols, zero tolerance for error, and the ability to make fast, decisive calls under pressure. I thrive in exactly those conditions.

Across both sectors, three things have defined my work: client satisfaction, unwavering safety standards, and the kind of leadership that keeps teams composed when it counts. Whether I'm managing a crowd at a festival or holding a post at a secure facility, my clients know the job will be done right.
